The New Jersey Devils have struggled most of the season so far and that does not look like it will be changing anytime soon. The Devils have only managed to get a total of 25 wins on the year and 9 overtime losses for a total of 59 points on the season. The Devils are also coming into this game here in the middle of a 6 game losing skid to face a good Flames team.

The Devils have managed to score only 2.75 goals a game, but the Devils defense has been suspect as well as they are giving up 3.30 goals a game. When it comes to the power play the Devils have converted at 17.6% on the season, but have killed off 83.8%. The Flames are sitting atop the Pacific Division by a single point and unless they lost out the rest of the season and the Coyotes win all the remaining games the Flames are guaranteed to make the playoffs. Now the big thing is to figure out the seeding and with how the Flames have been playing the team does have a chance of getting a bye week in the playoffs.

The Flames are coming into the game with a great offense that has scored 3.49 goals a game, but the defense has allowed only 2.83 goals a game. The Flames have converted on the power play at 21.9%, but the team has ended up killing off 79.5% of the opponents power plays.

The Flames are coming into this game on their home ice and the Flames are one of the best teams in the NHL facing one of the worst teams. The only concern the Flames would have is a let down on the team because they think the game will be a pushover. Look for the Flames to easily win this game as the Flames keep playing great hockey here. Final Score Prediction, Calgary Flames win 4-1.
