Dallas has tightened up down the stretch, picking up three wins in the last four, including two overtime victories and a shutout. Offensively, Edmonton still averages 3.27 goals per game and has a strong 25.7% power play, but the absence of its top stars could seriously hamper output.

Dallas is healthier, deeper, and plays a more complete game right now. The Oilers missing both Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl is just too much to overcome against a disciplined team allowing under 2.6 goals per game.
