The Washington Capitals gear up for their third straight home game on Tuesday evening. Washington will host the Colorado Avalanche after losing to Tampa Bay at home in overtime on Saturday. The Capitals are 1-0-1 on the season and sit 4th in the Metropolitan division. Washington ranks 2nd in the NHL allowing just 24 shots on goal per game.
