Game six of the NHL Stanley Cup final will be in Tampa, FL Sunday night as the Colorado Avalanche take on the Tampa Bay Lightning. Colorado comes into game six following a disappointing 3-2 loss in game five at home. Darcy Kuemper again struggled in the net in game five posting a .897 save percentage after allowing 26 goals on 29 shots in just under 59 minutes on the ice.
Offensively Colorado has been one of the most dominant teams in the NHL this season averaging 3.76 goals per game on 35 shots as a team. Mikko Rantanen leads the Colorado offense with 92 points on the year to go along with a team high 36 goals on 254 shots. Nazem Kadri is the top set up man with 59 assists this season.
The Tampa Bay Lightning go back home Sunday night rejuvenated following their upset win in game five. Andrei Vasilevskiy shined in game five posting a .946 save percentage after allowing only two goals on 37 shots in the game.
Mikhail Sergachev and Corey Perry led the way for the Tampa Bay offense posting 2 assists each. Jan Rutta,ONdrej Palat, and Nikita Kucherov supplied all of the Tampa Bay scoring with one goal each.
