Chicago comes into this game with a preseason record of one win, four losses, with the only victory coming on the road against the Detroit Red Wings by the score of 4-2. 

The St Louis Blues come into this preseason matchup with a record of 5-2, and have won three out of their last five games including a victory against Chicago in Illinois. The other two victories came against the Columbus Blue Jackets by the score of 4-2, and the Minnesota Wild by the score of 4-2.
