The Chicago Blackhawks played in Anaheim on Wednesday night before heading to LA to take on the Kings Thursday. The Blackhawks lost to the Jets 6-4 on Sunday. Chicago is 7th in the Central with a 22-32-9 record. The Blackhawks have won just three of their last ten games and carry a 11-16-4 road record.

Collin Delia will protect the net for Chicago. Delia is 0-1 on the season with three goals allowed. The Chicago Blackhawks entered Anaheim on Wednesday riding a three game losing streak.

The Los Angeles Kings remain at home after beating Nashville 6-1 on Tuesday. Quinton Byfield led the way in the win with two goals and an assist. Los Angeles is 2nd in the Pacific Division with a 35-22-8 record. The Kings have won six of their last ten games.

The Kings carry a 17-13-3 home ice record into Thursday. Cal Petersen will make the start in goal for LA. Petersen is 17-10-1 on the season with three shutouts. Petersen has allowed 75 goals and carries a 2.65 goals against average.

The Los Angeles Kings are 4th best in the NHL with 35 shots on goal per game. Chicago is struggling to find the win column currently and starting a backup goalie will not help any. Look for the Kings to dominate at home in this game. Final Score Prediction, Los Angeles Kings win but the play is on the over 5-3.
