The Vancouver Canucks look for their second consecutive victory over the Minnesota Wild when they play Game 3 of their best of five qualifying series on Thursday.  Vancouver defeated Minnesota 4-3 in Game 2 to level the series at 1-1. JT Miller scored a goal and handed out an assist to help lead the Canucks to the victory on Tuesday.

In postseason play, JT Miller, Alexander Edler and Bo Horvat are leading the Canucks in points with two a piece. Edler is the leader in assists with two. In net, Jacob Markstrom is 1-1-0 with a goals-against average of 2.54 and save percentage of .923.

Minnesota trailed 3-1 entering the third period against Vancouver and rallied with two goals but fell short by the minimum. Kevin Fiala scored a pair of goals for the Wild while Luke Kunin scored the other. Alex Stalock made 24 saves in net for the Wild. Minnesota failed to score on each of its six power-play opportunities.

Kevin Fiala is leading Minnesota in goals scored with three, while Eric Staal is the assist leader with four and the points leader with four. In net, Alex Stalock is 1-1-0 with a goals against average of 2.03 and save percentage of .929. 

Minnesota played very well leading up to the suspension of the NHL season in March and looked very solid in its Game 1 victory. Although the Wild lost Game 2, Minnesota never gave up, rallying from a 3-1 deficit to lose by just one. Minnesota has won seven of its last 10 overall.
