The Canucks had a good start to their road trip after Christmas. However, the lead the Flames have in the division has only been by 2 points and between the Flames and Sharks they have been swapping the lead back and forth most of the season.
On the year so far the Flames have been able to score at a clip of 3.45 goals a game. The defense for the Flames has allowed only 2.68 goals a game. The Flames have ended up getting a conversion on the power play at 21.8%, but have killed off 80.3%.
