Has Montreal finally found a way to win again? That really depends the Canadiens in their last game before playing the Blackhawks on Wednesday was a 2-0 win over the Calgary Flames. The win did allow the Canadiens to improve to 20-20-7 on the year so far.

When it comes to playing offense the Canadiens have been able to score at a clip of 3.04 goals a game. The defense for Montreal has allowed 3.13 goals a game. The power play for Montreal has converted at 20.9% on the year and have killed off 78.3% of the power plays faced.

Philadelphia has a very difficult game against the Saint Louis Blues on Wednesday night. However, the game before that the Flyers ended up getting a game against the Boston Bruins in what ended up being a 6-5 win. The win actually brought the Flyers to a 24-16-6 mark on the season.

This year the offense for the Flyers has been playing decent at times this year with 3.07 goals a game being scored. The defense for Philadelphia has given up only 2.98 goals a game. The power play for the Flyers is converting at 19% and the penalty kill is fairly impressive at 81.9% on the year.

The Flyers are playing at home which will help them out, but also the Flyers are playing hot. The downside is the Flyers are playing a lot harder and more physical team on Wednesday night and that will definitely wear the Flyers out quite a bit compared to the weaker Blackhawks team the Canadiens play on Wednesday. The good news is the home ice advantage helps to fuel the Flyers to a win as the Flyers have rarely lost this season at home. Final Score Prediction, Philadelphia Flyers win 3-1.
