Winnipeg and Calgary will definitely be doing some battle in what many may even consider to be a rivalry game here. The Jets are coming in with the slightly better record overall. The Flames, though, are one team that is consistent, but it took them a really long time to get back into the games and be competitive. The Jets, though, are a team that managed to play some great hockey and were fairly consistent most of the year.

Kyle Connor was the points leader for the Jets on the year with a total of 73 points and out of those 38 came from goals. The assist leader for the Jets was Mark Scheifele with a total of 44 assist. For Calgary the points leader was Matthew Tkachuk with 61 points. Elias Lindholm led the Flames in goals with 29 goals and Johnny Gaudreau led the Flames in assist with 40 assist.

When it came to the net protection the Jets relied on Connor Hellebuyck who put up a 31-21-5 record. Hellebuyck allowed only 2.57 goals a game, but saved 92.2% of the shots sent towards him on the year.

David Rittich is the goalie the Flames used quite a bit last year. Rittich ended up with a 24-17-6 record. Rittich allowed a total of 2.97 goals a game while saving 90.7% of the shots that were sent towards him

The Flames have quite a bit of talent on the roster, but it took a while for the Flames to mold together in to the team that pulled into the position they were in. The Jets, for their part looked very good in the way they have played so far, but also have a talent that can counter what the Flames are planning on putting on the ice. Final Score Prediction, Winnipeg Jets win 3-2.
