The Calgary Flames open their NHL quarterfinals best-of-seven series on Tuesday against the Dallas Stars. Calgary defeated the Winnipeg Jets 3-1 in their best-of-five qualifying series to reach the quarterfinals. Dallas did not look good in its first two games of its round-robin series losing to the Vegas Golden Knights 5-3 and the Colorado 4-0, but the Stars bounced back with a big 2-1 victory over the St. Louis Blues on Saturday. In the victory over St Louis, Joe Pavelski evened the score with just over 31 seconds to play in the third period and Anton Khudobin made all three saves in the shootout for the victory.

Joe Pavelski is leading Dallas in goals scored in the postseason with two while Miro Heiskanen is the assist leader with four and the points leader with four. In net, Ben Bishop is 0-1-0 with a goals-against average of 4.08, and a save percentage of .875. Anton Khudobin is 1-1-0 in net for the Stars and could see the start in Game 1 ahead of Bishop.

Dallas has not played very well in it's three round-robin games but the Stars defense will dictate the outcome of this therefore the play here is the UNDER. The UNDER has cashed in five of the Stars last seven and in four of the last five head-to-head between Dallas and Calgary. The Flames have seen the UNDER cash in six of their last eight. Final Score Prediction, Dallas Stars win but our best play is UNDER 3-1.
