Detroit is 2-0-1 on the season and sits 5th best in the NHL in the shooting percentage category. This will be the Red Wings last home game before heading out for their first road test. 

Alex Nededlijkovic will take his spot between the pipes for Detroit. Nededlijkovic has not played in two straight games after his overtime loss. Nededlijkovic carries a 6.67 goals against average with a .854 save percentage. 

The Detroit Red Wings look to build some momentum after Tuesday's 4-1 victory. Alex Nededlijkovic will get another start in the goal as he looks to help the Red Wings win their third straight game.
