- With the Bruins they are coming into the regular season limping with injuries. The Bruins have already landed Joakim Nordstrom on the injured reserve, but also have declared Kevan Miller as being out on the game as well. To make matters worse the Bruins have David Krejci listed on the day to day roster and he is one of the bigger players for the Bruin. Even with the loss of those players the Bruins managed to finish out the preseason with a 4-1 record in the last 5.
Brad Marchand is back for the Bruins this year and he is one of the firecrackers on the Bruins team. That is quite shocking as he is also one of the shorter players on the Bruins team coming in at 5’9”. The two goalies the Bruins relied on last season are both over 30 coming into this game, but it will really help the team out in this game as the experience can and has shut down the opponents last year.
Dallas is coming in injured as well. The Stars have already placed 2 players on the injured reserve list. However, the Stars have also ruled as of September 28th Corey Perry would be out as well. The preseason finished up for the Stars with a 3-2 run in their last 5 games on the year and that could help them out, but it was a win loss win pattern.
Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn are back this year for the Stars and that could definitely help the team out. These two players were able to form a dynamic duo last season and with the goalie being Ben Bishop again this year the Stars have a good chance of being an impressive team.
