Bruins at Blues 6/9/19 - NHL Playoffs Picks & Predictions

The Saint Louis Blues have caused quite the stir on the Stanley Cup finals and are heading back to Saint Louis only a game away from securing the cup. However, if the Blues do end up winning in the 6th game of the series would it be marred with the missed penalty call that has so many of the fans in Boston upset as it looked like the Bruins stopped playing and waited for a whistle to be blown as the Blues scored a goal on the no call.

The funny thing is if the Bruins players had done what players are trained and coached to do for playing until the whistle. If the Bruins players did not have that mental lapse and anticipate the penalty call then the game could have went the other way. However, the mental lapses are what has cost the Bruins most of this game and the lack of strong shooting or lucky shots is what the Bruins need to avoid in this game here. In the game the Blues were led in the net by Jordan Binnington. Binnington had to face a ton of shots in the game and turned all of them away except for the single Bruins goal. What was really impressive is the 38 saves he made were not always easy ones and he ended up getting a 97.4% of the shots saved.

Tukka Rask is the Bruins goalie who has been able to lead the team in the net most of the year. The downside in the last game was the fact that Rask managed to save 19 shots, but he did allow a couple of goals to sneak past him and that was the difference in the game here.
