The Blues have been playing some great hockey this year in the playoffs. What is even more impressive is the Blues have proven that they are able to battle back from adversity on the year. The Blues managed to battle from being the last place team in the NHL to one of the final 8 teams and are only 6 wins away from making it to the Cup finals. However, the Stars have definitely been putting up a challenge in this series for the Blues as the Stars have pushed the Blues to the limit in a lot of the games and in the last game these two had it really took a lot out of the teams before they could lock down the win with the final goal coming in the final few minutes of the game right after the Stars tied the game.
Jordan Binnington had an amazing night in goal towards the end of the game. Yes, he did keep letting the Stars back into the game, but the way he played in the final minute when the Blues were down to a 6 on 4 challenge, the Blues goalie showed up huge. Binnington faced a total of 31 shots in the net and he ended up turning 28 of those shots away from his net.

Ben Bishop did decent for the Stars in net with a total of 34 shots faced, but he was only able to turn away 30 of those shots. What did not help is the Stars defense kept allowing the Blues players to get in front of the net for a lot of screening shots and that really led to Bishop not being able to see the puck as well as what he should have in the net.

The Stars were embarrassed by allowing the Blues back into the game so many different times in the 3rd game of the series. Look for the Stars to have a decent game here as the Blues offense is contained and the Stars figure out how to keep the screeners off of Bishop allowing him to see the puck quite a bit better than what he did in the last game. Final Score Prediction, Dallas Stars win 4-3.
