Blues at Stars 4/29/19 - NHL Playoffs Picks & Predictions

The Blues and the Stars have an even series and are a team that needs to bounce back from the recent loss they had to the Stars. The game was one which the Stars were able to dominate the game and actually ended up scoring a total of 4 goals in the game, but the Blues were only able to counter in the game with a couple of their own. What is even worse for the Blues is the fact the team played very flat and the defense did not show up in the game to protect the net like the fans would have expected. For the Stars, the team had some amazing goal play from Ben Bishop in the game. Bishop faced a total of 34 shots on the game, but ended up saving 32 shots in the game. What else was impressive for the Stars is the fact they were able to get 8 shorthanded saves from Bishop as well and that should really help carry over into this game here.

Jordan Binnington was in the net for the Blues and he did not have as impressive of a showing in the net. He was able to face a total of 34 shots as well in the game, but only managed to turn away 31 shots. Just like Bishop, though, Binnington was challenged in the net on the Blues power plays as he had to save the puck 9 times when the Blues were on the power plays.
