The Blues are a team that was able to battle back in the fourth game of the series to even it up at 2-2. Now, the games are going back to Saint Louis and that is going to make the game one that can be very interesting as the teams are definitely going to have a big battle in San Jose. However, what else helped the Blues out is the fact they were able to avoid any type of issues like they had in the 3rd game off of the hand pass.

The Blues also were able to survive the onslaught that was present with the extra attacker for the Sharks for almost a full 2 minutes in the game. However, the Blues are also a team that should be able to come into the game and prove that the defense was able to play great in the game as well and that should help them out heading into this game when it comes to the confidence boost they need to have. Martin Jones was in the net for the Sharks. He only faced a total of 22 shots in the game. However, he was able to turn away 20 of those shots in the game. That included 4 shorthanded shots, 2 power play shots, and even managed to turn away 14 regular strength shots as well.

The Blues saw Jordan Binnington face a total of 30 shots in the game and he turned away 29 of those shots, which was quite amazing for the goalie. Quite a few of those shots came in the mad scramble that the Sharks put into the game at the end of the game when they had the extra attacker on the ice.

The Sharks are heading home in this game and would like to bring home some added wins here. However, the Sharks are going to face a well disciplined Blues team and that will help them out quite a bit in this game. Look for the Blues, though, to stumble in San Jose as Binnington plays great, but does not get the goal support in the game. Final Score Prediction, San Jose Sharks win 3-1.
