Saint Louis is slowly climbing their way back to contention and the Blues are actually only 7 points out of third place in the Central Division. However, the Blues are only 4 points behind the Wild in the standings and that would help them out quite a bit of having a good chance of making the playoffs as a potential Wild Card team. Now, the one thing the Blues do need to work on is being consistent as they are only 2 points away from the basement in the Central as well.

The Blues this season have been able to rely on Ryan O’Reilly to lead the team when it comes to scoring as he has managed to get a total of 53 points on the year. Out of those points 33 of those points have come from assist and the other 20 have been from goals. Tampa Bay looks like they are going to run away with the Atlantic as they are ahead of the Maple Leafs by 14 points. However, the Lightning are also a team that is coming into this game after recently losing a game to the Golden Knights in the shootout that saw the usually very potent and strong Lightning offense getting completely shut down.

This year the Lightning have been able to rely on Nikita Kucherov to do most of the scoring as he has managed to get a total of 81 points on the season. Out of those points 59 have come from assist. The leading goal scorer for the Lightning is Brayden Point who has put in a total of 31 goals.
