The Saint Louis Blues are no longer the surprise team from last year. The Blues are sitting in first place in the Central Division. Blues have a 30-10-8 record on the year with 68 points a total. The Blues last game was a 4-3 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers.

David Perron leads the Blues with 20 goals and 47 points overall. The assist leader for the Blues is Ryan O’Reilly with 32 assist. As a team the Blues are giving up 2.63 goals a game on the year so far.

The Avalanche have been able to play decent on the year, but are still sitting 10 points back from the Blues in the Central. The Avalanche have posted a 26-15-6 record on the year so far. The last game on the ice for the Avalanche was a 4-0 win over the San Jose Sharks.

Nathan MacKinnon is the offensive leader for the Avalanche on the year. MacKinnon has been able to get 27 goals and 41 assist on the year for a total of 68 points this year. The defense for the Avalanche have allowed 2.96 goals a game.

The Colorado Avalanche are playing at home and that will definitely help the Avalanche in the game here. However, what else will help the Avs out is the offense found a way to click in the last game and the Blues struggled in their last game. Look for Colorado to take advantage of the struggling Blues offense and that makes it easier for the Avalanche to lock down the win in the game. Final Score, Colorado Avalanche win 4-2.
