Blackhawks at Predators 11/16/19 - NHL Picks & Predictions

Chicago is led by a cast of young players and seems to be getting into a better groove as of late. The Blackhawks sit second-to-last in the Central Division but have won four of their last six games, including two in a row. In those two wins over Toronto and Las Vegas, Chicago has scored five goals both times.

Wednesday's win was the first ever for the Blackhawks over the Golden Knights. Veteran goal-scorer Patrick Kane had a goal and two assists in the win. Kane has been electric in the last four games with five goals and five assists. As for contributions from younger players, 22-year-old Dylan Strome has been impressive at the center spot lately. In the four games, Strome has logged multiple helpers three times. On the season, he leads the team with 11 assists.

Nashville was off to a great start to the season before five losses in the last six games. Road struggles have really plagued the Predators, who have twice as many losses and half as many wins away from Nashville. They've been strong on their home ice and look to get back on the right track at Bridgestone Arena on Saturday.

Defenseman Roman Josi has been integral to the Predators' scoring lately, with five assists in the last five games. Josi has put up more than 40 assists three times in his career and is on pace to smash that mark this season. He is tied for the team lead with 13.

The Blackhawks may have their younger starters coming around on the year, but the problem is going to come up for the Blackhawks time and time again is the fact that the Blackhawks have not been that strong of a team overall on the year and the defense has been horrible. Final Score Prediction, Nashville Predators win 4-2.
