The Blackhawks are in a tie, but the tie is not for first place like a lot of the fans would have expected. Instead the tie is for dead last with the Blues in the Central Division. For the Avalanche the team has been playing really well on the year and that is going to be something the Avalanche are going to want to build upon as they are showing they are a playoff potential team. What else will help the Avalanche out in this game is the fact the Blackhawks have been horrible on the year and are battling for the basement on the year.
