The Avalanche were able to force a game 7 on Wednesday night and it was definitely a battle that went well into the night as the Avalanche did not score the final goal until overtime. However, it was a higher scoring affair than what most of the other teams would have expected in the game and that is definitely going to be something that can make a difference in the game here as the Avalanche are going to need to continue the offensive pressure, but this time would have to continue the pressure on the road. Martin Jones was in net for the Sharks in the last game and he ended up facing a total of 26 shots in the game. The downside is he was able to turn the puck away 22 times and allowed 4 goals to get by him. Which equated to only a 84.6% of the shots that were sent towards him saved in the game.

Philipp Grubauer was the goalie the Avalanche used in the last game. He was not much better in net as he faced only 22 shots in the game and turned away 19 of those shots. What is even worse is his save percentage ended up sitting at 86.4% on the night.

The Avalanche pushed a game into overtime in the last game. However, it was a challenge for the Avs as they had to battle most of the game. What else will not help the Avalanche out is the team has to go on the road and the Sharks have been playing really great hockey on their home ice. Look for the Avalanche to put up a fight in this game, but fall short. Final Score Prediction, San Jose Sharks win 4-3.
