Colorado has a couple of games that should be fairly easy for the team to break their losing skid. The first of the easier games for the Avalanche is against the Dallas Stars. The Stars have struggled all year and the Avalanche have managed to play really well, until the last 2 games.. The second of those games is against the Arizona Coyotes who have bounced all over and have really started to play good on the year.

The Avalanche offense is what is carrying the team so far with a total of 3.92 goals a game being scored. The Avs have converted on the power play at a clip of 21.7% and have killed off 84.6% of the opponents power plays. When it comes to the defense the Avalanche are giving up only 2.83 goals a game.

Arizona has been able to quietly start to shock a lot of the fans with how good the Coyotes can be. Arizona has found a great goalie and while the offense is still somewhat lacking the offense has managed to play well enough to get the Coyotes 7 wins on the young season already.

With the Coyotes the team has managed to score at a clip of 2.83 goals per game. The Coyotes have converted on the power play at 21.1% on the year. When it comes to the penalty kill the Coyotes are sitting at a 79.4% penalty kill on the year. The Coyotes have allowed only 2.33 goals a game on the season.

The battle here will be a good one as it pits the strengths that are opposite for each team against the others strength. The difference is the Coyotes are a team that can play solid defense and rely on the defense to lead to the conversion attempts on the offense and that is what happens in this game here. Final Score Prediction, Arizona Coyotes win 3-2.
