If not, the Lightning could have some issues in the playoffs.

When it comes to the scoring on the year the Lightning are a well rounded group, but the Lightning have a great player who leads the team. The leader for the Lightning is Nikita Kucherov who has managed to get 85 points total, of those 33 were goals and has a total of 52 assist on the season as well.

Protecting the net has been the job of Andrei Vasilevskiy who has played in 52 games on the year. He posted 35-14-3 record and allowed only 2.56 goals a game. Vasilevskiy has saved 91.7% of the shots that have been sent towards him. His backup goalie is Curtis McElhinney who posted an 8-7-3 record with 2.89 goals a game allowed.

The Lightning do have a good chance of winning their games, but it all depends if the Lightning start off quickly or not. If the Lightning are able to start off quickly, then the chances are good for the Tampa Bay team to pick up the wins needed and to be a threat for the Stanley Cup. If the Lightning start off like they did at the first part of the year the Lightning could be in trouble.
