2020 Philadelphia Flyers Recap - NHL Picks & Predictions

At the time of the pause the Flyers had managed to battle all the way up to second place in the Metro Division. Now, the Flyers have to hope that they are able to restart quickly or they could have some issues in moving any further in the tournament and that could prove to be problematic for the Flyers who this year started off very slow.

Scoring for the Flyers was handled mainly by Travis Konecny who ended up with 61 points total, but managed to get the goal lead as well for the Flyers with 24 goals. The assist leader for the Flyers was Jakub Voracek who ended up getting a total of 44 assist on the year.

Protecting the net for the Flyers for most of the year was the job of Carter Hart. Hart played in 43 games and posted a 24-13-3 record on the year. Hart only allowed 24.2 goals a game and saved 91.4% of the shots that were sent his way. The other goalie the Flyers used was Brian Elliott who played in 31 games with a 16-7-4 record. Elliott only allowed 2.87 goals a game, but ended up saving 89.9% of the shots.

The Flyers were not able to start off really quickly in the regular season. However, with the restart the Flyers are one team that would like to buck that trend as the Flyers definitely have to start off quick, but in the current format the Flyers should face a significantly lower seed.
