2020 Chicago Blackhawks Recap - NHL Picks & Predictions

The Chicago Blackhawks managed to make it back to the playoffs as the last team to qualify in the Western Conference. However, the Blackhawks, who in the regular season finished last in the Central Division are looking to avoid some of their struggles that they had before the pause hit. That will definitely be something that the Blackhawks are looking to avoid in this restart.

When it comes to the overall scoring the Chicago Blackhawks ended up relying on a single player to do most of their offensive production. The player responsible for the Blackhawks offense is none other than Patrick Kane. Kane for his part put in a total of 84 points on the year. Out of that 33 of those points came from goals, but 51 of those came from being assist to get the goals scored.

Corey Crawford was the main goalie in net for Chicago with 40 games played. Crawford posted a 16-20-3 record while allowing 2.77 goals a game to be scored. Crawford did save 91.7% of the shots sent towards him. Robin Lehner was the other goalie with 33 games played. Lehner posted a 16-10-5 record while giving up 3.01 goals a game and saved 91.8% of the shots sent towards him.

With the Blackhawks the team did not really look overly impressive on the year and that is going to be difficult for the Blackhawks to start off strong to get the wins needed in the restart. Look for the Blackhawks to be unable to really restart as strong as needed and that leads to a quick exit for Chicago.
