The goalies on the year for the Hurricanes was mainly played by Petr Mrazek who played in 40 games. He ended up posting 21-16-2 record. Mrazekonly allowed 2.69 goals a game and saved 90.5% of the shots that were sent his way. The typical backup for the Hurricanes was James Reimer who played in 25 games and posted a 14-6-2 record while allowing 2.66 goals a game. Reimer saved 91.4% of the shots that were sent towards him.

While the Hurricanes did make the playoffs they did it with consistent play. However, a major problem for the Hurricanes is the fact that they have not really shown up as a strong starting team and were only playing the path of consistent team when challenged. Look for that to continue to be an issue for the Hurricanes in this game here as the Hurricanes are unable to really take off quickly.
