The Minnesota Vikings head to Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts to play a late Sunday afternoon game against the New England Patriots. Minnesota kept pace with the Chicago Bears thanks to a 24-17 victory over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football. Kirk Cousins threw for 342 yards with three touchdowns and no turnovers in the win to over a short-handed Packers.

New England defeated the New York Jets on Sunday 27-13. Tom Brady threw a pair of touchdown passes and rookie running back Sony Michel rushed for 133 yards to lead the Patriots. New England is now 8-3 on the season and holds a comfortable three game lead over Miami in the AFC East. Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins has thrown for 3,289 yards, 22 touchdowns and seven interceptions. The leading rusher is Latavius Murray with 455 yards and five touchdowns, while the leading receiver is Adam Thielen with 1,138 yards and eight touchdowns. On defense, Eric Kendricks leads the Vikings in tackles with 72, while Danielle Hunter is the sacks leader with 11.5.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has thrown for 2748 yards, 17 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Sony Michel is the leading rusher with 453 yards and four touchdowns. The leading receiver is James White with 562 yards and six touchdowns. Kyle Van Noy leads all tacklers with 66, while Deatrich Wise Jr. is the sacks leader with 3.5.

Minnesota played much better in its win over Green Bay than the prior week in a loss to the Bears. However, the Vikings must beat the Patriots and Tom Brady in Foxboro which is not an easy task. New England has covered 36 of its last 51 at home and 15 of its last 22 at home against teams with road winning records. Final Score Prediction, New England Patriots win but fail to cover ATS 27-23.
