The Vikings are one of those teams that are trying to run down the Packers in the standings, but it could be challenge on the year. The Vikings have posted a 9-4 record overall, but playing on the road the Vikings are sitting on a 3-4 record. The last game for Minnesota was a 20-7 win over the Detroit Lions.

This season has seen the Vikings offense get going really good with 26.1 points a game being scored. The Vikings have thrown the ball for 252 yards  game and ran the ball for 136 yards a game. When it comes to playing defense the Vikings have given up only 19.2 points per game. The Vikings have allowed 259 yards  a game in the air and 102 yards a game on the ground.

The Chargers were supposed to be playing quite a bit better than what the Los Angeles team has done so far. The Chargers are sitting on a 5-8 record so far. The home record for the Chargers is not that impressive either with it only by 2-4 on the year. The last game for the Chargers was a 35 point win over Jacksonville.

When it comes to scoring the Chargers have ended up with 22.2 points a game on the year. The Chargers have thrown for 291 yards per game and ran for only 97 yards a game. The defense for the Chargers is giving up 19.3 points a game and have allowed 209 yards per game in the air and 108 yards a game on the ground.

The Vikings are not the best road team, but the Minnesota teams road record is better than the Chargers home record. The Chargers home record coupled with the low scoring offense will have some problems in this game against the Vikings. Look for Minnesota to take control over the game here rather easily and bring home the win here on the road. Final Score Prediction, Minnesota Vikings win and cover ATS 24-20
