The first ever NFL Monday Night Football game played in Las Vegas and Game 2 of the NHL Stanley Cup finals highlights this two-game parlay. On Monday, the New Orleans Saints visit the Las Vegas Raiders as the Raiders will be debuting their new stadium and the Dallas Stars take on the Tampa Bay Lightning in the second game of their Cup finals with the Stars leading the series 1-0.
New Orleans Saints at Las Vegas Raiders: NO -5; Total 48.5
New Orleans opened its 2020 NFL regular season with a 34-23 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The potent offense of the Saints, led by quarterback Drew Brees, running back Alvin Kamara and wide receiver Michael Thomas, was instrumental in putting up 34 points on the scoreboard. However, wide receiver Thomas has been ruled out of Monday's game with the Raiders due to an ankle sprain. Las Vegas opened its regular season with a 34-30 victory over the Carolina Panthers in a game dominated by the Oakland running game as Josh Jacobs rushed for 93 yards and three touchdowns. However, the Raiders defense had a hard time stopping the Panthers allowing 259 yards passing and 129 yards rushing. Even without wide receiver Thomas in the lineup on Monday, New Orleans takes care of business and covers the number with a 31-23 victory.
1st Part of NFL/NHL Parlay: New Orleans Saints -5
Dallas Stars vs Tampa Bay Lightning: TB -160; O/U 5
The Dallas Stars came out physical in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup finals and set the tone as Dallas forechecked, played tight on the boards and made several body checks across the ice. That helped Dallas to put the Tampa Bay skaters on their heels and the Stars were able to walk away with a 4-1 victory and take a 1-0 series lead. Anton Khudobin stopped 36 shots in net for the Stars, making several spectacular saves. Although Tampa Bay Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy has been the best goaltender during the postseason, with a goals-against-average of 1.88, the Russian was able to only stop just 16 of the 19 shots he faced in net. Look for Tampa Bay to bounce back and finally find a way to get the puck past Khudobin in net and even the series with a 4-1 victory on Monday.
2nd Part of NFL/NHL Parlay: Tampa Bay Lightning -160
