Two Team Football Parlay - Thursday 11/19/20

Our two-team parlay for Thursday features an NFL and a college football matchup as the Arizona Cardinals visit the Seattle Seahawks for NFL Thursday Night Football and the Tulane Green Wave visit the Tulsa Golden Hurricane in an American Athletic Association college football clash.

Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks: SEA -3; Total 57.5

Arizona is coming off a last-second victory this past Sunday over the Buffalo Bills, while Seattle returns home after two consecutive losses. The over/under opened at 56.5 and has already moved up one point to 57.5. These two combined to score 68 points in Week 7, but that was in Arizona under a roof. Thursday’s field is expected to be somewhat slower as well as soggy and slippery as it has rained this week and showers are forecast for game time. That could prevent Arizona from calling the same number of offensive plays the Cardinals have of late. Arizona has averaged 71.7 plays per game on offense over the last three outings. Seattle’s defense has not played well much of the season but its coming off of an outing where they held the Los Angeles Rams to 24 points despite the Seattle offense turning the ball over three times. After halftime Seattle looked its best as Snacks Harrison debuted at defensive tackle. Starting cornerbacks Quinton Dunbar and Shaquill Griffin are also expected back from injuries in time to play Thursday. With a slower playing field in soggy conditions, look for a lower scoring game than usual from these two. Take the UNDER.

1st Part of NFL/College Football Parlay: under 57.5

Tulane Green Wave at Tulsa Golden Hurricane; TLSA -6.5 Total 53.5

The wind is expected to play a part in Thursday's matchup between Tulane and Tulsa as forecasts call for 20 to 30 mile per hour winds with higher gusts possible. Tulsa enters as 6.5-point home chalk and the favorite in this matchup has covered the spread in 13 of the last 15 meetings between the two. The Golden Hurricane has already defeated UCF as a 20.5-point dog and SMU. Tulsa’s offensive attack has been balanced behind quarterback Zach Smith who has passed for 1,250 yards and 10 touchdowns while being intercepted six times and completing 61% of his passes. The running game for Tulsa averages 5.3 yards-per-carry. Tulsa’s defense allows just 21.8 points per game. Tulane has won three straight but against lesser quality opponents than those of Tulsa such as Temple, East Carolina and Army. Tulane will rely on its running game with running backs Stephon Huderson and Cameron Carroll sharing the duties, but Tulsa will stack the line to force Tulane quarterback Michael Pratt to beat them through the air but with windy conditions that could be an issue for the Green Wave offense. Lay the 6.5 points and take the home chalk before it reaches seven.
