Two Team Football Parlay for Tonight - Thursday 11/5/20

Last Updated: 11/04/2020 at 7:25 PM ET

Our two-team parlay for Thursday features an NFL Thursday night football showdown and Mountain West Conference clash. The Green Bay Packers visit Levi's Stadium to play the San Francisco 49ers and the Utah State Aggies visit the Nevada Wolf Pack in a MWC clash.

Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers: GB -5; Total 50

Green Bay is 5-2 and has lost two of the last three, but will be facing a depleted San Francisco squad with personnel missing on both sides of the ball. The 49ers are 4-4 and coming off a loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Last week Green Bay scored just 22 points versus Minnesota even though they had over 400 yards of total offense and scored touchdowns in each of their three visits to the red zone. However, poor defense against the run and penalties proved costly for the Packers. San Francisco rushed for just 52 yards against Seattle and that will benefit the Packers defense. San Francisco had a strong dominating defense last season and a solid running game on offense but injuries have hit both sides of the ball hard as running backs Jeff Wilson Jr and Raheem Mostert are both on the IR, and Tavin Coleman may not play Thursday. On defense, the 49ers have missed the leadership of Richard Sherman in the secondary and the front four has suffered injuries to Nick Bosa and Dee Ford. Green Bay will use an efficient passing attack on Thursday to win and cover. Lay the points and take the road chalk.

1st Part of NFL/CFB Parlay: Green Bay Packers -5.5

Utah State Aggies at Nevada Wolf Pack: NEV -16; Total 56

The Nevada Wolfpack have started their regular season off strongly at 2-0 straight up and against the spread. In contrast, Utah State has yet to win or cover at 0-2 SU and ATS. Nevada defeated Wyoming 37-34 on the road to open its season as three-point dogs and then easily defeated UNLV 39-17 as 14-point chalk. Quarterback Carson Strong has completed 75.9% of his passes with six TDs and no interceptions. The Wolf Pack do not run the ball often but when they do their top two running backs are averaging more than 5 yards per carry. Each of Utah State's first two opponents have averaged 300 yards more per game than the Aggies. Utah State was defeated by Boise State 42-13 and 38-7 by San Diego State failing to cover as dogs in both contests. With little firepower out of Utah State’s offense in the first two games scoring a combined 20 points and a strong start to the season for Nevada on defense and the odds are strong for a Wolf Pack win and cover. Lay the double-digit points and take the home chalk.
