In week four NFL action, the Tennessee Titans will travel to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium to take on the Atlanta Falcons. The Titans started the season off with a 30-point road victory at Cleveland, but have followed that up with consecutive losses. On Thursday, Tennessee trailed by 14 points after the first quarter of a 20-7 road loss against Jacksonville. The Titans outgained the Jaguars by a 340-292 margin and turned the ball over once on the night.
Tennessee RB Derrick Henry rushed 17 times for 44 yards and scored the only touchdown for his team. Adam Humphries caught six passes for 93 yards in a losing effort for the Titans.
The Atlanta Falcons have lost two of their first three games and have taken a major step back from the team that reached the Super Bowl in 2017. On Sunday, Atlanta’s second half rally came up just short during a 27-24 road loss against Indianapolis. The Falcons trailed by 17 points at halftime and cut it to the final margin with just over four minutes remaining on a 10-yard Julio Jones touchdown catch.
Atlanta QB Matt Ryan completed 29 of his 34 passing attempts for 304 yards and three touchdowns. Julio Jones hauled in eight passes for 128 yards for the Falcons.
