Titans at Broncos 9/14/20 - NFL Picks, Odds, & ATS Predictions

With this game here the Titans will be heading into the game with a new President at the helm for the team. The Broncos are going to be looking to settle down on the quarterback position and could end up having some issues as the Broncos were not really expecting to lose Flacco this year, but with him moving on it could actually be a good thing for the Broncos.

The Titans in the draft ended up addressing a couple of their big concerns on the year. The first was an anchor at offensive tackle, which was taken care of with Isaiah Wilson from Georgia. The other position filled was at corner with the drafting of Kristian Fulton from LSU. Now, the Titans do have some gaping holes as Marcus Mariota and Jack Conklin both left via free agency.

With the Broncos the team did not pick up a quarterback in the draft. Instead, Denver added a couple of new targets in the offensive side of the ball by getting Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler with the first couple of picks in the draft. Then the Broncos released Joe Flacco the veteran, but often injured quarterback. Chris Harris Jr. did end up leaving the Broncos in the free agency market and that was a corner who played in 99.3% of the snaps for Denver.

The Broncos are going to hand the quarterback position over to Drew Lock in the most likely scenario. With the Titans the team is looking to hand the ball over to Ryan Tannehill. The downside for both teams is neither one of these two players are very experienced and it will make for an interesting quarterback battle. The big difference is the Broncos picked up a couple of great receivers to help Lock out and that gives him some great targets to throw to.

Starting the year out on Monday Night Football is definitely not something that these two teams expected to do. However, the two teams are the last ones to play on Monday night and that could help the teams out, but also gives the Broncos extra time to get their new rookie receivers up to speed on the route running. Look for the Broncos to rely on the offense and for the team to gel together and become a force as the Broncos run away with this game. Final Score Prediction, Denver Broncos win and cover ATS 31-21.
