The Tennessee Titans visit Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado on Sunday to face the Denver Broncos in an AFC showdown. Tennessee fell to 2-3 on the season following its 14-7 loss to the Buffalo Bills at home. The Titans defense held up allowing just 14 points, but the offense sputtered in the red zone and missed three field goals with a fourth being blocked.
Denver won its first game of the season on Sunday after defeating the Los Angeles Chargers 20-13. Broncos cornerback De’Vante Bausby was carted off the field after a violent collision but was able to move his arms and legs and returned with the team to Denver. Phillip Lindsay rushed for 114 yards and the Broncos opportunistic defense forced three turnovers.
Marcus Mariota has thrown for 1,116 yards and seven touchdowns. The leading rusher is Derrick Henry with 388 yards and four touchdowns. A. J. Brown leads all Titans’ receivers with 250 yards and two touchdowns and Corey Davis has 201 yards receiving and one touchdown. Jayon Brown leads the Titans in tackles with 36.
Joe Flacco leads the Broncos in passing with 1,258 yards, six touchdowns and four interceptions. The leading rusher for the Broncos is Phillip Lindsay with 327 yards and three touchdowns. Courtland Sutton leads Denver in receiving with 401 yards and three touchdowns. Josey Jewell leads Denver in tackles with 27.
