Wyatt Ray led the way for the Titans defense with seven tackles and 1 1/2 sacks on the day. The Titans as a team compiled 5 total sacks against a lackluster Atlanta offense.
Tampa Bay did not look like the reigning Super Bowl champions during their first game of the preseason losing to a bad Cincinnati team. Blaine Gabbert and Ryan Griffin saw most of the snaps on offense each completing six out of 11 passives thrown for 111 total yards and no touchdowns. Running back Ke’Shawn Vaughn was the only bright spot for the Tampa Bay offense with 27 rushing yards on 11 carries for one touchdown on the day.
The Buccaneers allowed far too many points leading to a 19-14 loss. Antonio Hamilton led the defense in tackles with six on the day as Javon Hagan and Cameron Kinley chipped in with six apiece.
