Tennessee Titans 2022-23 - NFL Schedule

Tennessee finished the 2021-22 NFL season first in the AFC South with an overall record of 12-5. Tennessee was 5-1 in division play, 7-2 at home and 5-3 on the road. Tennessee lost to the Cincinnati Bengals 19-16 in the AFC division playoffs. Tennessee traded away its leading receiver from last season, AJ Brown and drafted Treylon Burks in an attempt to replace talented Brown. 

Ryan Tannehill returns as the starting quarterback for Tennessee. Last season Tannehill passed for 3,734 yards with 21 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Derrick Henry played just eight games of the season last year due to injuries and still led the Titans with 937 yards rushing with 10 touchdowns and will once again be the focal point of the Tennessee offense this season. The leading receiver returning from last year is Nick Westbrook-Ikhine who caught 38 passes for 476 yards and four touchdowns. 

Tennessee's defense set a new NFL playoff record with 9 quarterback sacks against Cincinnati last season in the playoffs but the Titans still lost. Jeffery Simmons returns at defensive tackle and Harold Landry is back after having a strong season with 12 quarterback sacks. Kevin Byard is one of the best if not the best safety in the NFL and Amani Hooker, who plays opposite Byard is also an excellent safety. Tennessee’s linebacker corps is led by Landry who is joined by Bud Dupree, Zach Cunningham and David Long Jr.
