Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New York Jets 1/2/22 - NFL Picks & Predictions

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be on the road in week 17 for a matchup with the New York Jets. Tampa Bay has been great thus far this season coming into Sunday 11-4 overall after winning four of the last five games played including a 26 point win in Carolina last game out. Offensively Tampa Bay dominated Carolina posting 391 total yards of offense and scored 32 points in the game. 

Tom Brady completed 18 of 30 passes for 232 yards and one touchdown to lead the Tampa Bay offense. Ke’Shawn Vaughn led the way for the Tampa Bay ground attack with 70 yards and one touchdown on 7 carries, while Ronald Jones II chipped in 20 carries for 65 yards and one score as well. The returning Antonio Brown shined for Tampa Bay with 101 yards receiving on 10 receptions. 

The New York Jets have been terrible all season with only four wins through 15 games following a five point home win against Jacksonville. Despite defensive struggles from New York the Jets offense carried the load with 373 yards of offense to score 26 points including ten points in the fourth quarter to pull out the victory. 

Zach Wilson led the way for the New York offense completing 14 of 22 passes for 102 yards and one score, while running the ball four times for 91 yards and one touchdown as well. Braxton Berrios was the primary target in the Jets passing attack compiling 37 yards on five receptions. Tyler Kroft Added three catches for 29 yards and Connor McDermott chipped in with one catch for one yard and 1 touchdown.
