Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Denver Broncos 9/27/20 - NFL Picks & Predictions

On Sunday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers visit Mile High City to play the Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High. Tampa Bay improved to 1-1 following its 31-17 victory over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday to give Tom Brady his first victory with the Bucs. Brady passed for 217 yards, one touchdown and one interception, but it was Leonard Fournette who came off the bench to rush for 103 yards that was the catalyst to a solid running game. Mike Evans caught a 23-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter for the Buccaneers.

Tom Brady has thrown for 456 yards, three touchdowns, three interceptions and has been sacked three times. Leonard Fournette is the leading rusher for Tampa Bay with 108 yards and two touchdowns while Ronald Jones II has 89 yards rushing and one touchdown. Mike Evans is the leading receiver with 106 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, linebacker Devin White has a team-high 26 tackles.

Denver dropped to 0-2 following its hard-fought loss to the Pittsburgh Steeler 26-21 on Sunday. Starting quarterback Drew Lock was knocked out of the game due to a right shoulder injury in the first quarter. Jeff Driskel replaced Lock and passed for 256 yards, two touchdowns and was intercepted once and was in a position to lead the Broncos to the victory but the Pittsburgh swarming defense once again stacked the quarterback for the 6th time.

Jeff Driskel has 256 yards passing, two touchdowns, one interception and has been sacked six times, while Drew Lock has 236 yards passing, one touchdown and has been sacked once. Melvin Gordon is the leading rusher for Denver with 148 yards and one touchdown, while Noah Fant is the leading receiver with 138 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, linebacker Alexander Johnson has a team-high 20 tackles.

Denver could be without its starting quarterback Drew Lock and although Jeff Driskel played well as Lock’s replacement, the Broncos will be facing a tough Tampa Bay defense that was able to shut down the Carolina Panthers offense. Tampa Bay has covered the number in four of its last five when playing against a team with a losing record and in seven of its last 11 played on the road. Final Score Prediction, Tampa Bay Buccaneers win and cover ATS 30-17.
