Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers 10/23/22 - NFL Picks & Predictions

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers go on the road this week to Charlotte, NC for a division matchup with the Carolina Panthers. Tampa Bay comes into their seventh game of the season at an even 3-3 on the year after losing three of the last four games played including a two point loss to Pittsburgh on Sunday. Offensively Tampa Bay moved the ball well accumulating 304 total yards of offense including 229 yards through the air but scored only 18 points leading to the loss.

Quarterback Tom Brady struggled a bit under center completing only 25 of 40 passage for 243 yards and one score in the game. Running back Leonard Fournette led the way on the ground for Tampa Bay with 63 yards on 21 carries and crisp Godwin chipped in 95 yards on six receptions as well.

The Carolina Panthers return home this week with only one win through their first six games played riding a three-game skid following a 14 point loss to Los Angeles on Sunday. Defensively Carolina struggled as Los Angeles scored 24 points including 17 in the second half on 360 total yards of offense.

The Carolina offense continued to struggle with 203 total yards of offense after converting only 2 third downs to score 10 points in the game. PJ Walker struggled under center for Carolina completing 10 of 16 passes for 60 yards and Jacob Eason completed three passes for 59 yards as well. Christian McCaffrey was the top player in the Carolina offense with 69 yards on 13 carries and posted a team high 89 yards on seven receptions as well.
