Saints at Jets 8/24/19 - NFL Preseason Picks & Predictions

The Saints are a team that finally picked up a win on the road in the second preseason week. The Saints beat the Chargers in the last game out by a score of 19-17 and that could help the Saints out quite a bit in this game as the team has really improved quite a bit and while the offense has looked decent, it will be interesting to see how well Brees does in this game for the Saints.

Taysom Hill was able to throw the ball for 136 yards and 2 touchdowns in the game they just won. The downside is Hill was also the leading runner in the game with 5 carries for 53 yards in the game. The Jets defense looked really impressive against the Falcons in the last game. The Jets only allowed 10 points in the last game they played in and that is going to really be helpful in this game against a Saints team that could have a great offense. What else will help the Jets out is the fact that the offense was able to play decent in the last game.

Sam Darnold did decent for the Jets in the game. He went 5-7 in the game and ended up getting a total of 46 yards in the game. Ty Montgomery was the leading rusher for the Jets with a total of 7 carries for 36 yards and a score in the game.
