The Jacksonville Jaguars look to find the same success as they found last season. The Jaguars went 10-6 during the regular season landing a post-season appearance where they also found success. Jacksonville was knocked out by the New England Patriots 24-20 in the Conference Championship. The Jaguars will be led by head coach Doug Marrone as he enters his third season at the helm of the franchise.

Jacksonville kicks off their Week 1 preseason campaign at home as a -2.5 favorite against the New Orleans Saints. We won't see much of the starters on Thursday but should see both Cody Kessler and Tanner Lee running the offense at the QB position. Jacksonville recently signed defensive tackle Sealver Siliga too add more talent to their deep defensive unit.
The New Orleans Saints were also a playoff team last season and will hope to revisit that success against this season. The Saints went 11-5 during their 2017 season and lost in the Divisional round 29-24 against the Minnesota Vikings. Sean Payton gears up for his 12th season as the Head Coach of the Saints.

QB Drew Brees is looking for another standout season as he does not have much left in the tank at 39 years old. The Saints also went 2-2 during last seasons preseason games. We should see QB J.T. Barrett and Taysom Hill get most of the QB reps.

The Jaguars get the edge in their opening preseason game as they will be on their home field. The favorite has covered the spread between these teams in five of the last six meetings. Jacksonville had over 15,000 fans show up to their open practice and reports have said that this team is eager to get on the field this season. Back the home team on Thursday night. Final Score Prediction, Jacksonville Jaguars win and cover ATS 24-13.
