NFC East Division rivals will clash on Sunday night, when the Washington Redskins invade Lincoln Financial Field to battle the Philadelphia Eagles. The Redskins are a game above .500 overall and tied with the Cowboys for first place. On Thanksgiving Day, Washington turned the ball over three times during a 31-23 loss at Dallas. Colt McCoy threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns in his first start in place of injured QB Alex Smith.

Through eleven games, Washington ranks 27th in the league in total offense and is scoring just 20 points on average. Philadelphia has issues in the secondary on a defense that ranks 24th in yards allowed and gives up 23 points per game. The defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles have dealt with a ton of injuries, but are still just a game behind the division leaders. On Sunday, Philadelphia rallied from an eight-point halftime lead to score an important 25-22 home victory versus New York. Zach Ertz caught seven passes for 91 yards and a touchdown for the Eagles, who allowed 402 yards of total offense on the day.

For the season, Philadelphia ranks 19th in total offense and is scoring at a 20.9 clip. Washington features a middle of the pack defense that ranks 18th in yards allowed and surrenders 20.8 points per game.

Washington RB Chris Thompson (ribs) returned to practice on Monday and is expected to play in this game. These two teams will meet again in the final week of the regular season. Philadelphia showed plenty of character in their come from behind victory last weekend. Look for the champs to find a way to win again in a game that will go over the total.
