The defending NFC Champion Rams have lost three straight games and have struggled to get their running game going. On Sunday, Los Angeles was limited to 157 total yards during a 20-7 home loss versus NFC West Division leader San Francisco.
The Rams got on the scoreboard first on an eight-yard touchdown run by Robert Woods. Los Angeles QB Jared Goff managed just 78 yards through the air on 24 passing attempts.
The Atlanta Falcons have lost five of their first six games and appear to be ready to move on from head coach Dan Quinn. On Sunday, Atlanta kicker Matt Bryant missed a potential game-tying extra point with less than two minutes remaining during a 34-33 road loss against Arizona. Devonta Freeman scored on a 12-yard reception from Matt Ryan to bring the Falcons within one point.
Atlanta QB Matt Ryan completed 30 of his 36 passes for 356 yards and four touchdowns. Austin Hopper caught eight passes for 117 yards and a touchdown in a losing effort for the Falcons.
