Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys 9/27/21 - NFL Picks & Predictions

AT&T Stadium will play host to a Monday night NFC East showdown between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys. Philadelphia started the season with a 26-point road triumph against Atlanta, but was unable to get their offense going during Sunday’s 17-11 home loss versus San Francisco. The Eagles (1-1) allowed the 49ers to possess the ball for nearly 35 minutes and committed eight penalties for 57 yards lost.

Philadelphia QB Jalen Hurts threw for 190 yards to go along with 82 yards rushing and a touchdown. Quez Watkins caught two passes for 117 yards in a losing effort for the Eagles. 

The Dallas Cowboys have looked good with QB Dak Prescott under center and figure to challenge for the division title. On Sunday, Dallas built an 11-point lead after one quarter and held on late for a 20-17 road victory against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Cowboys (1-1) rushed for 198 yards on 31 carries and forced two turnovers on the afternoon.

RB Tony Pollard led the Dallas offensive attack with 109 yards and a touchdown on 13 attempts. Second year WR CeeDee Lamb contributed eight receptions for 81 yards.
