Trevor Siemian will get his first start as the official No. 1 quarterback in Denver when the Broncos host the Packers this weekend. Siemian was named the starter early this week and the Broncos continue to retool their offense. Jamaal Charles will get lots of carries this weekend as he is worked into the Broncos' game plan. He has played in just eight games over the last two seasons after knee surgeries.
Starting running back CJ Anderson may not play much, if at all. The offensive line continues to be retooled, and that may be the major work going on for Denver in this game. Denver needs to develop its running game after averaging 92.8 yards per game a year ago.
The Packers are coming off a 10-6 season and are just refining their game in the preseason. The Packers had the fourth best offense in the league last year, averaging 27 points per game. The offensive line has some depth issues, so the starters may not play much in this game.
Aaron Rogers has been solid, and may not need to play much more in the preseason. Brett Hundley and Taysom Hill are the backups and may see most of the action against Denver this week.
Ty Montgomery is currently the starting running back in Green Bay, but he has been hampered by injuries. Rookie Jamaal Williams is currently No. 2. There are now five running backs on the Green Bay roster and three of them are rookies.

Free NFL Pick:
Something has to give in this one as both teams are undefeated straight up and ATS so far this pre-season. Packers are clearly the better team and think Green Bay should be favored, either way we love the odds-makers error as Pack win outright. Final Score Prediction, Green Bay Packers win 22-17.
