NY Jets at Buffalo Bills 9/13/20 - NFL Picks, Odds, & Predictions

The Jets and the Bills are going to kick off their regular season by facing each other. The rivals are definitely going to be looking to have the start to a good season. The bad news for Buffalo is the fact that the Jets have been improving quite a bit on the year compared to what the Jets had done the year before.

The Jets are looking like an improved team on the year. The Jets signed George Fant as an offensive tackle and ended up getting a monster pick in Mekhi Becton in the first round. Those two players will help to shore up a suspect line for the Jets from last season. With the receiver positions the Jets even added in some extra talent as well by getting Breshad Perriman.

With the Bills the team has improved to an extent through the draft by landing A.J. Epensa to help to shore up the defensive end position. The Bills also ended up landing a great receiver in a trade from the Vikings by getting Stefon Diggs in a trade. Now, one of the big difference makers comes from the fact that the Bills can head into the year with an unsettled quarterback position and a potential gift came in the 5th round to the Bills in the form of Jake Fromm.

One of the key factors that will be in place here will be the quarterback battle. For the Jets they are looking to have Sam Darnold who has started to look like a grizzly veteran which tips the ball in favor of the Jets. The Bills, though, are coming in unsettled with Josh Allen as the favorite, but he will definitely be challenged for the starting position from Jake Fromm and Matt Barkley, which will definitely make it harder for the Bills to get any rhythm going.
