The 2018 NFL Pro Bowl will take place on Sunday afternoon, when the NFC All-Stars will take on the AFC All-Stars from Camping World Stadium in Orlando. The Pittsburgh Steelers lead the AFC with eight selections, including QB Ben Roethlisberger, RB Le’Veon Bell, and WR Antonio Brown. Quarterback Derek Carr replaced Tom Brady, while Alex Smith took the place of Phillip Rivers on the squad.

The Jacksonville Jaguars ranked second in defense during the regular season and will feature three starters on defense for the AFC. Cornerbacks Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye will start alongside defensive end Calais Campbell. Denver OLB Von Miller and Los Angeles DE Joey Bosa will certainly make things tough for the opposing quarterbacks. The NFC All-Stars will counter with plenty of star power from high scoring offensive teams. The Los Angeles Rams led the league in scoring and will be represented by the one-two punch of QB Jared Goff and RB Todd Gurley. New Orleans QB Drew Brees will be joined on offense by running backs Mark Ingram and dynamic rookie Alvin Kamara, as well as WR Michael Thomas.

The NFC defensive unit lacks the big names that are featured on the opposing defense. The secondary appears to be the strength of the team, with Arizona CB Patrick Peterson and Minnesota CB Xavier Rhodes expected to start. Carolina LB Luke Kuechly and New York SS Landon Collins will not play in this game, despite being selected to start.

Last year the NFL went back to the traditional NFC-AFC format, with the AFC emerging victorious by a 20-13 final score. The all-time series between the conferences is now tied at 22 wins apiece. On Sunday, I expect NFC head coach Sean Payton and his skill position players to shine. Final Score Prediction, NFC All-Stars win and cover ATS 34-27.
