New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles 12/26/21 - NFL Picks & Predictions

The New York Giants limpinto Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA in week 16 for a matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. The New York Giants have been awful this season coming into week 16 4-10 overall with a 1-6 road record after losing four of the last five games played including three in a row following a 15 point loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The New York offense was non existent against Dallas totaling only 302 yards to score 6 total points in the game. 

Quarterback Mike Glennon struggled completing only 13 of 24 passes for 99 yards and three interceptions, while Jake Fromm didn’t fare much better completing only six of 12 for 82 yards and no touchdowns. Devontae Booker was the only bright spot in the New York offense with 74 rushing yards on 8 carries in the game. Saquon Barkley added 50 yards rushing on 15 carries, while Kinney Golladay added 53 yards receiving on three receptions. 

The Philadelphia Eagles come into week 16 sitting a 7-7 on the year following a Tuesday night win against the Washington Football Team. Despite a slow start to the game the Philadelphia offense erupted for 519 total yards and 27 points to erase a 10 point first quarter deficit. 

Jalen Hurts struggled early on but completed 20 of 26 passes for 296 yards and one touchdown, while running the ball eight times for 38 yards and two more scores. Miles Sanders led all ball carriers with 131 yards on 18 carries in the game. Dallas Goedert proved to be the primary target for the Eagles with 135 yards receiving on seven catches.
