New Orleans Saints at Houston Texans 8/13/22 - NFL Preseason Picks & Predictions

The New Orleans Saints head to Houston to take on the Texas in their preseason opener. The news around the Saints as of lately has been Jameis Winston. Winston rolled an ankle in practice and is hoping for a quick recovery. New Orleans has Andy Dalton and Taysom Hill to back up Winston. 

The Saints highlight of last season was winning four of their last five games. New Oreleans finished the regular season with a 9-8 record and did not make the playoffs. The Saints biggest off-season move was the pick up of DB Tyrann Mathieu. 

The Houston Texans went 2-1 in their preseason games last season. Houston won just 4 games last season and hope for a much better outcome this year. Two of the four win that Texas won last season were the last two weeks of the season. 

The Texans focused on getting their defense more sound for this season. Houston drafted CB Derek Stingley Jr as the 3rd overall pick. The Texans will work Kyle Allen and Jeff Driskel on the QB position this preseason.
